To add/update attendance through teacher's portal, please follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Go to Academics on the left hand side 

  • Select the academic session

  • Select the grade 

  • Click on search 



  • Click on the attendance button of the subject that the admin wants to add or update.

  • Once clicked the attendance, the system will take you to the screen where you can add and update the attendance of a subject of the selected grade.





 

  • To check Holidays, there is a switch called ‘Show Holidays’.

  • Click on search.

  • Once you enable this button all the holidays specified in the system within the week will show on the system.


  • Click on the  add/update attendance button



  • Select the date for which the teacher wants to add the attendance

  • Click on Search 



  •    After marking the attendance, Kindly click on save attendance.

Note:  Implement Dynamic Statuses for attendance:

Now user can add custom fields for required status for attendance on admin portal, these fields will display on admin/teacher's portal attendance screen to mark accordingly.   

 

If a teacher wants to add any custom field on the attendance screen as per their requirement, then they need to contact a respected Admin to add required fields status accordingly.  

 


For example, two other options have been added here 1.Leave (L) and 2. Excused Absent (EA)


 

In order to mark all students as present please follow the steps mentioned below.

  •  Select all students by clicking on the check box provided on the extreme left column of the attendance table 

  • Once the user has checked the boxes for all the options that they have added in the attendance setting through the general settings of the admin portal will appear on the top left of the attendance table. Select the present option and all the students will be marked present together 

 

> The user can select the option as per your requirement 

 




Note: If a non-zero weightage is assigned to attendance then:
Attendance data must be entered by teacher
